Nobody’s been hit harder by the pandemic than the airline industry.
But the head of Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa is looking toward the future.
The company just bought 32 new Piper aircraft for pilot training in their flight school.
Spartan CEO Rob Polston says the pandemic will pass, and they want to be ready.
“We know that even with this temporary blip that airline travel is going to come back, and there’s a huge need for pilots and mechanics,” Polston.
Spartan has been in Tulsa for 90 years, and Polston says Tulsa is a big part of their identity.
He says they’re committed to investing in their students and the community.
