Bryan Martin

Louisiana native Bryan Martin combines traditional country, Southern rock, outlaw country, and country gospel with honest songwriting informed by his working-class roots. He found mainstream success in 2022 when his single "Beauty in the Struggle" became a viral hit, and he continued to hone his relatable and deeply personal songcraft on 2023's Poets & Old Souls.

A native of Logansport, Martin spent his formative years in a musical household (his mother sang with Faron Young, Alison Krauss, and David Houston) and started performing at local festivals at eight years old. The self-taught musician later worked in the oil fields as a roughneck but continued to write and play on the side, amassing a vast catalog of songs that chronicled the myriad hardships of blue-collar life. His 2019 debut album, If It Was Easy, parsed his struggle with opiate addiction, while 2022's powerful Self Inflicted Scars touched on the suicide attempt that followed in its wake. The latter effort yielded the single "Beauty in the Struggle," which reached millions of listeners after going viral online.
