The Flu and RSV are running rampant. My 5-year-old is fighting cooties right now.

I thought I’d share some natural ways to help with symptoms.

Disclaimer: I am not a Dr, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once.

1. Stay Hydrated!

Drink water, herbal teas, broths or electrolyte drinks to prevent dehydration. Especially, if you have a fever.

2. Rest!

Your body needs energy to fight off sickness.

3. My Mom swore by this. Honey.

A spoonful of honey can soothe a sore throat and suppress cough. If you don’t want to eat it straight up, put some in tea.

4. Elderberry syrup.

This stuff is amazing!
