A rough stretch of 21st Street in Midtown is about to get some need attention. It’s a heads up for those that live near Expo Square and the Tulsa Fairgrounds -- 21st Street between Yale and Sheridan will be a work zone through November 2025.
Crews will remove the old surface and repave with new asphalt, while also installing new stormwater drains and upgrading the sidewalks. Two-lane traffic will be maintained during the duration of the project with beginning on the eastbound lanes first, then moving to the westbound lanes.
