The holiday season is a time for giving, and this year, Green Country listeners have an opportunity to make Christmas a little brighter for the men and women serving our country around the world.

Christmas for the Troops, presented by Communication Federal Credit Union and Planet Fitness, is collecting items requested by troops stationed around the world. Community members are encouraged to help gather needed supplies and holiday essentials that will be shipped directly to service members, with the goal of getting them delivered in time for Christmas.

Getting involved is easy! Listeners can:

• purchase items off the list of requested items and drop them off at any participating Communication Federal Credit Union locations
  • 3106 S. Sheridan Rd.
  • 950 N. Aspen Ave.
  • 108 E. 8th St.
  • 11894 S. Memorial Dr.
  • 12312 E. 86th St. N.
• purchase directly off of the Amazon Wish List
• make a direct donation online here.

Whether you donate a few requested items or help spread the word, every contribution makes a difference. Let’s come together as a community to remind our troops that they’re remembered, appreciated and supported this Christmas season.
